Black cloth covers are clean and bright, boards have four blind-stamped border-lines, gilt lettered sp., top sp.has sm.nick however and there are few very tiny spots of rubbing along joints, corners good. An attractive copy of this important work in which, among other things, Weismann famously attacked Lamarckism, although his experimental refutation came a few years later.…
