A remarkably well-preserved copy of this scarce 1931 (first thus) edition of Valentine Weigelius' celebrated mystical and esoteric treatise, limited to 500 copies. Published by Alexander Moring Ltd, this edition reproduces the seventeenth-century work and is particularly desirable in its original publisher's binding. Condition: Excellent. An exceptionally clean and attractive copy in the original grey-blue boards with cream spine. The boards are bright, clean and square, with only the slightest age wear to the top edges. The spine is in very good condition. The binding is tight and sound, and the pages are generally exceptionally clean, with no inscriptions, markings, evident foxing or tanning. The only real exception is the final page of text (see photos) which has browning beneath the text itself. A beautifully preserved example of a scarce edition.
