Published in 1939, this is the First Edition of this collection extracts and poetry from the works of the Shropshire author Mary Webb, illustrated in colour and black and white by Norman Hepple & Rowland Hilder, this example has been rebound in a half leather binding, with raised bands and gilt decoration, binding is in good solid condition though the gilt to the spine is a little dulled and faded, internally noticeable foxing and browning to a few pages else in good general condition.
