The Prinsep's and Watt's salon was a favorite place of the Pre-Raphaelites, especially Burne-Jones, and other literary, political and artistic figures including Disraeli, Robert Browning, Tennyson, Gladstone, Carlyle, Whistler, Millais, Herschel, Tom Taylor, Thackeray and Ruskin.
