It was almost the last famous trial to take place under the old tudor procedure, it was the first trial "by newspaper" & the first in which there was any very serious collison between the bench & the press. Original brown boards scuffed & worn with some corner bumping, top & bottom of spine little ragged, light tanning & handling marks to pages, binding intact but open in places, clear text & illustrations.
