Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - We feel that to 'better' American poetry is to jam dominant systems of taste to the best of our abilities, and to resignify the very phrase 'American poetry' with the languages that it so desperately lacks. We intend to center voices of resistance, subjectivities that emerge from the radical margins, artists whose Americanness transcends nationalism and other borders, perspectives historically denied institutional backing--in short, poets and poetries that are urgent and necessary but do not get along nicely with Power.

Zustand: Hervorragend. Zustand: Hervorragend | Seiten: 262 | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | Integrated information systems are increasingly used in schools, and the advent of the technology-rich classroom requires a new degree of ongoing classroom assessment. Able to track web searches, resources used, task completion time, and a variety of other classroom behaviors, technology-rich classrooms offer a wealth of potential information about teaching and learning. This information can be used to track student progress in languages, STEM, and in 21st Century skills, for instance. However, despite these changes, there has been little change in the kind of data made available to teachers, administrators, students, and parents.Measuring and Visualizing Learning in the Information-Rich Classroom collects research on the implementation of classroom assessment techniques in technology-enhanced learning environments. Building on research conducted by a multinational and multidisciplinary team of learning technology experts, and specialists from around the globe, this book addresses these discrepancies. With contributions from major researchers in education technology, testing and assessment, and education psychology, this book contributes to a holistic approach for building the information infrastructure of the 21st Century school.

Manuskript / Papierantiquität
Revised Draft script for the 1981 film. Included is a second script, a revised draft in wrappers containing the latest revisions, and two shooting schedules, one detailing shooting dates beginning Week Three, and one detailing dates beginning about Week Nine. Notations throughout both scripts in manuscript ink and pencil. Based on screenwriter Tesich's own coming-of-age in Indiana in the 1960s. Danilo (Wason), Georgia (Thelen), David (Huddleston), and Tom (Metzler) are four friends growing up in a 1960s industrial town. Told through a series of vignettes in the eyes of Danilo, the film chronicles each friend as they come to accept that their lives may have become something they never thought possible. Shot on location in Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. One of director Penn's final and lesser known films, after "The Missouri Breaks" (1976) and before "Target" (1985). First script without wrappers or title page, a rainbow copy with several sets of revision pages (pink, yellow, goldenrod, blue, gray, green), dated variously between 7/7/80 and 8/29/80. Second script in blue Studio Duplicating Service wrappers, with no title page, a revised draft dated 8/29/80 throughout. Shooting schedules corner-stapled. All items Very Good plus overall.
