Zustand: Fair. - Small quarto [approximately 11-3/8 inches high by 8-3/8 inches wide], softcover bound in pictorial black-and-white wrappers. The binding is rubbed, soiled & chipped with tears & pieces out, including a piece out of the bottom edge of the front wrap, affecting 2 words of the text, and pieces out of the head & tail of the spine. The edges of the rear wrap are lightly stained. Pages numbered 73-120 & [4] pages plus 16 pages of ads, partly unopened. 4 color plates and textual & full-page illustrations in black & white. 2 leaves have been roughly opened with creases to & pieces out of their front edges. There is occasional soiling. Good working copy. Among the contents are articles on Camille Pissarro; the graphic work of Jan Poortenar; and an exhibition of work by nine Scottish artists calling themselves the Edinburgh Group.

Text is unmarked, some margins have spots, some early pgs are dog-eared including the margin of one plate, two plates have small closed tears that are in the margin and extend hardly at all into the plate. The plates are clean and colors good. Ffep has a small pencil scribble, half title pg has a pencil number, upper margin of contents pg has an ink number, rear pastedown has loss from the removal of a label or date pocket, but it's hard to tell if it was a library book or not.
