Zustand: Fair. 1938. No edition stated. 112 pages. Pictorial paper cover. Vol 3 no 2. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and slight foxing. Many dog-eared corners and creases. Moderate water staining not affecting text. Slight cracking. Slightly rusty staples. Paper cover has substantial wear with marks, creases, sunning, marks and tears, water stains and spine chips. Intensely worn spine ends too.

Pictorial wrappers. First Edition. Pages are mildly toned, small stain and chip to lower corner, wear to covers, old tape mends to the inside of both covers. A good copy. Contributions by Herbert Koehl, and others. ; Octavo.

Original publisher's illustrated covers, showing a woman in a red dress and a man in a top hat holding rope, lettered yellow on spine and on front cover. Double Detective ran for five years on a mainly monthly schedule. Stories include: The Affair of the Three Turtles, Visiting the Fire-Eater, Dead on the Doorstep, Death Can Play Jokes. Illustrated in b/w throughout. Some edgewear with slight chipping at spine ends, otherwise sound, very good minus with clean text.
