Vintage publicity photograph from the 1970 film, showing a close-up image of actor Sam Jaffe. An old man is told that his friend has died of natural causes, although he believes the death to have been a murder. Jaffe, who was born in the Lower East Side in New York, became a well-known character actor on the strength of his performance in Josef von Sternberg's "The Scarlet Empress" (1934). He would go on to work with a number of prominent Hollywood directors, most notably in "Gunga Din" (1939), "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950, for which he would be nominated for an Academy Award), and "Ben-Hur" (1959). Shot on location in Southern California. 4.75 x 7 inches. Near Fine, with three margins.

Vintage insert poster for the 1964 film. Olivia de Havilland stars as a wealthy widow, trapped in an elevator in her mansion during a power outage, terrorized by a group of vicious hoodlums. Largely derided by critics upon its release, the film has now, decades later, been reconsidered as a realistic, disturbingly tough thriller, which reflected the turbulence and changes during the 1960s. 14 x 36 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes at the corners. Grant US.
