Hard Cover. Zustand: Fair. No Jacket. E. Sargeant, 1807. Hard Cover. No dust jacket. Cover is worn in many places, with tears to the spine which expose the binding. Pages are fairly delicate and very heavily foxed, with occasional underlinings and marginalia. Very slight water damage to a few pages. Binding is slightly shaken, and the hinges are cracked. This well-aged book would be a good reading copy, or even a candidate for repair and rebinding.

No other copy traced on either Worldcat, COPAC, or PORBASE, and does not feature in the list of 'Later Editions' of the novel on pp.66-67 of A. T. Hazen's 1948 Walpole bibliography.
