Bifolia are notched and worn along the folds from once being bound within an album as a result The front cover and pages three and four are detached but present while pages five and six remain attached to the back cover, soiling to the exterior, light foxing and light offsetting throughout, and minor edgewear, a complete but good only copy. For voice and piano. Plate number, 1086. The front cover states that this song is dedicated to Madame F. Lablache. The composer of this song, William Vincent Wallace, was an Irish composer and musician regarded as a virtuoso at both the violin and the piano, though this particular piece appears perfectly suitable for the average player.
