Verso mit seinem Atelierstempel 'Photograph by W Suschitzky' und dem roten Agenturstempel von BIPS (Bernsen's International Press Service Antwerpen). Schöner Abzug mit markiertem Bildausschnitt und Retouche am Fell. Der in Wien der Buchhändlerfamilie Suschitzky entstammende Fotograf und Kameramann lebte, wie seine Schwester Edith Tudor-Hart, im Londoner Exil, wo ihr Onkel das Antiquariat Libris London Ltd. in der Boundary Road (Swiss Cottage) betrieben hat. So gesucht wie seine Aufnahmen in der Charing Cross Road (Foyles) sind auch die Tieraufnahmen im London Zoo. Originalabzüge außerordentlich selten.
