Der in Wien der Buchhändlerfamilie Suschitzky entstammende Fotograf und Kameramann lebte, wie seine Schwester Edith Tudor-Hart, im Londoner Exil, wo ihr Onkel das Antiquariat Libris London Ltd. in der Boundary Road (Swiss Cottage) betrieben hat. So gesucht wie seine Aufnahmen in der Charing Cross Road (Foyles) sind auch die Tieraufnahmen im London Zoo. Originalabzüge außerordentlich selten.
