Late reprint inscribed 1962 (first published in 1941), LACKING DUSTWRAPPER. Small 8vo, 178 x 118 mm, 7 x 4½ inches, buff boards, navy blue illustration and lettering, blue patterned endpapers, 24 text pages. 24 delightful full page coloured illustrations, black and white vignettes in the text. 2 naughty dressed kittens steal som…e jam tarts. Very tiny bump at head of spine, lower corners very slightly worn, inscription on front endpaper, contents very nice. Very good plus (lacking dustwrapper).
