Mayette, 1944. 5 ouvrages reliés en un volume au format gd in-8 (249 x 178 mm) de 86, 94, 104, 110 et 58 pp. Reliure de l'époque de demi-basane glacée sapin, dos à nerfs orné de filets gras à froid, fleuron doré, titre doré. Réunion en un volume de cinq textes rares relatifs à la prestidigitation. Le premier compte parmi les 500 exemplaires numérotés du tirage sur vélin bouffant de Navarre et est revêtu au colophon du cachet de l'auteur. Lequel a réalisé les compositions in et hors-texte qui agrémentent l'ouvrage. Le deuxième renferme quant à lui 30 photographies (sur 4 planches volantes placées in fine) et croquis. Le troisième appartient aux 650 exemplaires numérotés du tirage sur hélio montgolfier. Soigneuse réalisation, typographie et illustrations sont tirées en deux tons. L'ouvrage d'André Gervais est revêtu en page de titre de la signature autographe de ce dernier et est numéroté à la plume (d'un tirage non précisé). Il s'agrémente de planches photographiques. Quant à l'ouvrage de Jules Dhotel qui clôt ce recueil, il appartient au 250 exemplaires numérotés du tirage sur papier P. S. M. et contient quelques figures dans le texte. Fechner, Bibliographie de la prestidigitation, 556 (pour le premier ouvrage) puis, pp. 202, 14, 229 et 165. Dos passé. Quelques claires rousseurs dans les corps d'ouvrage (davantage marquées sur celui d'Alma). Du reste, belle condition.
