This large hard cover book (8 ? x 10 ? inches 256 pages) was published by Charles Scribner s Sons of New York dated 1935 and the First Edition with the same date on title & copyright pages. The book is bound in dark blue cloth with silver titles and decorations on cover and spine. This book has a very realistic signature of the Artist on the dedication page although I believe it is a facsimile impression printed in the book Please be sure to see the photos). The book contains 120 different full-page pictures or sketches by Artist each with a brief explanation of the scene/site on the page opposite. The presentation and detail of many of the sketches are truly astonishing. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are a bit sunned especially the spine where the silver gilt titles are just barely legible. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
