The biographies have not been arranged in any particular order. The present volume is the part II of the volume VII and includes the memoirs of 20 eminent plant pathologists including a few namely Butler Mundkur and Mehta who laid foundations of plant pathology in India. Most of the articles have been written by subject matter specialists who have been in close touch with the distinguished plant pathologists. But in certain cases only the published material formed the basis for the write up but even these have included personal anecdotes to indicate their intimate interest in the subject it teaching and students.
