Zustand: Good. 1947. First Published. 275 pages. Signed by the author. Illustrated dust jacket over beige cloth covered boards with gilt. Signed by the author with dedication to front free end paper. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. End papers are more notably foxed. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with tears and creasing. Moderate sunning to spine.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Oversized hardcover. Bound in dark green cloth over boards with dark green lettering on front and spine. Covers are clean with moderate wear; rubbing at crown and foot of spine as well as outer corners, cloth partially peeling from spine with a tear (about 4.5") running up from foot along front spine edge. Front and rear endpapers are partially torn along spine gutters. Binding is secure and intact. Pages are clean with light uniform toning and minimal wear.
