Later three-quarter calf over marbled boards, raised bands and lettering piece to spine, early hand-lettered title to fore-edge of text block. Moderate rubbing to boards and extremities, spine abraded and considerably worn, corners bumped and somewhat worn, boards partially detached, but secured by cords, a few cracks to text block. Light toning to text, occasional crinkling to top-edge of text block with soiling in a few places, a few leaves loose, minor wormholes along gutter in a few places, light foxing to preliminaries of Part I, light soiling, minor edgewear and small library stamp to general title page. $250. * First edition. Light rubbing and some minor nicks to boards, rubbing to extremities, chip to head of spine by front joint, rear joint starting, hinges cracked. Moderate toning to text, light foxing in a few places, brief annotations in a few later hands to several leaves, later owner signature (Arthur Palmer Jr.) and small library stamp to title page of Volume I. $350. * Fourth and final edition. An important collection of reports covering cases in King's Bench, 1668-1684, and Common Pleas and Chancery, 1669-1691. The annotations, many with secondary references, are mostly glosses or interpretive statements of underlying principles. Others link statements with cross-refe.
