Gedessineerde muts met flodderige rand waaronder enkele pijpekrullen tevoorschijn komen, dubbel parelsnoer rond hals, japon met pofmouwen. Schweickhardt was een Nederlandse dichteres en tekenares uit de 19e eeuw. Dochter van de schilder Hendrik Willem Schweickhardt. Zij trouwde met Willem Bilderdijk (1756-1831). Nederlands geschiedkundige, taalkundige, dichter en advocaat. Katharina Willhelmina wordt ook weleens gespeld als Katharine Wilhilmine. Etching, total 110 x 70 mm. In good condition.

In Rijksmuseum the same print is present: RP-P-OB-66.450[NL] Portret van Jacob Godfried Haafner, reiziger en reisbeschrijver in Oost-indië. Jacob Gottfried Haafner was een Duits-Nederlands schrijver van reisverslagen. Haafner schreef over zijn leven en reizen in Zuid-Afrika, Voor-Indië en Ceylon vijf reisverhalen. Hij had een afschuw van westers kolonialisme, de zending en slavernij. Geboren: 13 mei 1754, Halle, Duitsland, Overleden: 4 september 1809, Amsterdam. Hij werd beroemd als de VOC-medewerker die zich ontpopte tot antikoloniaal en een man die cultuur en leefwijze van Indiase bevolkingsgroepen, met name van de davadasi (tempeldienaressen) prachtig heeft beschreven.
