A very scarce souvenir programme for the Federation of Grocers' Associations 19th Annual Conference, illustrated throughout. In the publisher's original half cloth binding. All edges gilt. This is a souvenir programme for the 19th annual conference of the Federation of Grocers' Associations, held in Oxford between the 5th and 9th July 1909 by the Oxford and District Grocers' Association. The Grocers' Federation was started in 1891. At its 19th conference, the Federation consisted of 130 Associations, representing about 14,000 shops. In this programme is a history of Oxford, and of the Oxford and District Grocers' Association, with the names and portraits of members of the various committees. There is also a summary of the events of the conference and a couple of accounts of excursions during the conference. In the publisher's original half cloth binding. Externally smart, though a little soiled to the boards, with minor wear to the extremities and joints. Spine is slightly slanted. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Very Good. book.
