Presented in a navy fleece-lined quarter morocco clamshell box, with raised bands, gilt titles to spine, and blue cloth over sides. Internally clean, with browning to advertising leaves only. Covers lightly handled, but with heavy rubbing and some chipping to spines, including some careful repairs. Pencil ownerships to front covers of the first two issues. Very good. All six parts of Stacpoole's high-seas adventure, as well as numerous short pieces by authors including Doyle, Chaplin, Lawrence, Pain and Wallace.

Twelve short stories, which were originally serialized in the Strand, including: The Custody of the Pumpkin, Company for Gertrude,…A Bobbie Wickham Story, and The Mulliners of Hollywood. This copy is supplied with a later issue dust jacket, with an overprice sticker on the spine, and printed with a new list of Wodehouse's works. Written by Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse, an English author and one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, very smart with fading to the spine and edges of the boards. Later edition dust wrapper is smart with chipping and tears. Loss to the head of the spine and rear board, with minor loss to the tail of the spine and front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light scattered spotting to the endpapers. Very Good. None (illustrator). book.
