Yet many were disturbed by Valadon's works, especially her candid and earthy nudes which, like her sexual conduct, defied convention. After an attempt at marriage to a respectable businessman, she fell in love with Andre Utter, an artist twenty-one years her junior. Das Bild etwas fleckig, mit kleinen Farbfehlstellen, etwas berieben, etwas angeknickt, im unteren Bereich knittrig, Die Leinwand verso mit alten Leimresten, was die Leinwand versteift hat. Oh…ne genaue Provenienz, laut Vorbesitzer aus altem französischem Pirvatbesitz - aber das ist eine reine Zuschreibung ohne jeden Beleg. Dem Sujet, der Malweise und der Signatur nach könnte das Bild von Suzanne Valadon stammen. Es könnte sich aber auch um eine, wenn auch gekonnte Nachahmung oder Fälschung im Stil Valadons handeln. Eine Expertise zu dem Bild liegt mir nicht vor. ( Lagerort: KG, Alurahmen ) ( Bitte beachten:Hier ist leider kein Export außerhalb der EU möglich )( Weitere Bilder auf Anfrage ) / Artikel 13172 /// Image dimensions: approx. 58 x 58 cm (height x width); signed "s.Valadon" at the top left; undated. Oil on canvas, not stretched on a frame. The painting shows some staining, small areas of paint loss, slight rubbing, and minor creasing; the lower section is wrinkled. There are old glue residues on the reverse of the canvas, causing it to stiffen. No precise provenance is available; according to the previous owner, it comes from an old French private collectionthough this is merely an attribution without supporting documentation. Based on the subject matter, painting style, and signature, the work could be by Suzanne Valadon. However, it could also be an imitation or forgeryalbeit a skillful oneexecuted in Valadon's style. I do not have an expert appraisal for the painting. Huile sur toile, non montée sur châssis. La peinture présente quelques taches, de petites zones de perte de matière picturale, de légères traces de frottement et des plis mineurs ; la partie inférieure est fripée. Des résidus de colle ancienne sont présents au revers de la toile, la rendant rigide. Aucune provenance précise n'est disponible ; selon l'ancien propriétaire, l'uvre proviendrait d'une ancienne collection privée française, bien qu'il ne s'agisse là que d'une attribution sans document justificatif. Compte tenu du sujet, du style pictural et de la signature, l'uvre pourrait être de la main de Suzanne Valadon. Toutefois, il pourrait également s'agir d'une imitation ou d'un faux certes habile réalisé dans le style de Valadon. Je ne dispose pas d'expertise officielle pour ce tableau.
