Soft cover. Zustand: New. These discourses of Osho are not just a commentary on Saint Charandas, they are the testimony of a love affair between two enlightened souls. Why call it a love affair? Because Charandas, even though he is no longer in the body, inspires Osho with his poetry and his words of wisdom that he left behind after a life dedicated to spiritual teachings about Bhakti and Yoga. And Osho, on his part, out of his love for the great 18th Century Saint and mystic, magically brings back to life Charandas, so that he can be known to the world for what he is unique spiritual master, amongst countless masters who have walked throughout the centuries on India's beautiful land. And of course, India's land is blessed because so many rare souls have blessed it with their presence.…

Hardcover. Zustand: New. This series of discourses on Bhaj Govindam by Adi Shankaracharya was delivered by Osho at the Shree Rajneesh Ashram in Pune, India, in 1975. Adi Shankaracharya, also known as Shankara, was born in the 8th century in the southern Indian state of Kerala. He was one of India's most eminent philosophers and theologians, renowned for consolidating the non-dualistic philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. This school of thought upholds the vision of the oneness of existence, transcending the illusion of duality, plurality, and differentiation. Shankara laid the philosophical foundations that, over time, came to be recognized as the fundamental principles of Hinduism and continue to influence contemporary Indian thought. Osho chose to speak on this particular work of Shankara because of its unique character. In Bhaj Govindam, Shankara emphasizes both devotion (bhakti) and knowledge (jnana), giving equal importance to each rather than placing one above the other. Osho describes Shankara as an extraordinary master who attained the highest peak of knowledge and harmoniously united it with profound devotion. Bhaj Govindam is one of Shankara's most celebrated devotional hymns. It is perhaps his best-known and most widely cherished composition, and it continues to be sung throughout India to this day. Osho explains the significance of Bhaj Govindamin these words: "Among all the works of Shankara, none is more valuable than Bhaj Govindam. Essentially, Shankara is a philosopher. Yet he knows that the Divine cannot be attained through thinking and logical argument. The path to the Divine passes through the heart, not through the mind.".…

Hardcover. Zustand: New. These discourses on Socialism were delivered by Osho in Hindi in 1970. At that time, Osho was known as Acharya Rajneesh and already had a reputation as an outstanding philosopher and orator. Even though these talks were given more than fifty years ago, they remain relevant today-for India and for the world at large-because socialist ideology still holds a strong influence on the younger generation across the globe. This book shows how a mystic like Osho, known for his articulate and free-flowing expression when speaking about meditation and spirituality, can also seamlessly move into the realms of logic and rationality to address social issues, government policies, political ideologies, historical processes, scientific research, and even taxation. Osho's insights and reasoning on socialism as a political and economic system have a unique depth and flavor, quite unlike the long-winded dissertations of intellectuals, sociologists, and philosophers. His perspective springs from an understanding of man's inner being and the potential for evolving toward self-realization and enlightenment. This is not an essay on politics, sociology, or philosophy. These discourses are the outpourings of a mystic who speaks from direct experience, without ideological filters or preconceived ideas. Osho is not interested in creating new theories, philosophies, or ideologies. He simply sees things as they are, and so he speaks as they are encouraging us to reflect on his words and draw our own conclusions.…

Hardcover. Zustand: New. When renunciation happened spontaneously to Prince Vardhaman, he attained ultimate liberation and became Mahavira one who has conquered himself. The Jin Sutra comprises the teachings of Mahavira, the twenty-fourth Jain Tirthankara. In this first volume of a long series of 62 discourses, Osho discusses two paths: the path of the meditator and the path of the devotee. The Jin Sutra serves as a milestone for any seeker on the path of meditation. Osho states: "Mahavira is a master of meditation, he is solely for the meditator, because he dives deep into the different realms of consciousness.".…
