The contents are in very good condition, the frontispiece and title page have a little foxing and the manufacturer's stamp is on the title page, and on the front endpaper there is a 'with compliments' sticker. The boards are in good condition with a few marks and spine fade.

First Edition. Very good copy in the original gilt-blocked full Morocco over bevelled boards. Spine bands and panel edges somewhat rubbed and sulled as with age. A. E. G with inner dentelles.
