This unattributed color illustrated collection of Brer Rabbit tales is exceptionally uncommon, with no copies located held institutionally in a worldcat search. Paper covered boards are edge rubbed and a bit surface scarred; spine edge furred and missing small narrow pieces of the paper covering stock. Boards detached from the internal saddle stapled binding with text block laid in the boards. Illustrated with 6 color lithograph and 6 half-tone plates - charming examples of Brer Rabbit illustrations by an unattributed artist. Worn and tired copy but quite uncommon in any form. Fair to Good only.
