In den WarenkorbHardback. Zustand: Very Good Plus. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. First Edition. 1966. First edition. 173pp. This is the first book-length scholarly analysis of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels and the James Bond films, in which eight prominent Italian writers examine the Bond phenomenon in an international context. Thei…r researches range from the novels themselves and their cinematic counterparts to the vast sub-culture which has sprung up around them; from the women to the glittering gadgets, to 007 clubs and 007 fashions. A comparison of the fictional adventures of James Bond with the facts of international espionage reveals strange parallels, while the mountain of critical comment, praise and abuse, also reviewed, testifies to the potency of the Bond myth in present-day society. The book is bound in the original black boards with silvertitling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition with light bumping to the bottom of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with two faint 1/2" tape stains on the rear free endpaper. There is no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper is very good with very light shelf wear and bumping to the top of the spine. The edge of the front flap has two 1/16" tape stains and there are two stains of about 1/2" on the edge of the rear flap (probably where a protective cover for the wrapper had been attached).
