Hardcover. Zustand: Good. DESCRIPTION: Three-volume set, 15 x 10.5 inches, viii, 1126 pages, with additional pages 1-5 at the end of volume 3 containing the Constitution of Benedict XIV in 1744. Quarter leather on paperboard with marble endpapers. This is the new, more accurate Roman edition as stated on the cover page. All three volumes have the labels of the Jules Masson, the book seller in Paris, as well as the Séminaire de Nicolet library, Quebec, attached to the front pastedowns, as well as library labels acted to the spines. The content is in Latin.----- CONDITION: Leather spine is rubbed with some loss of leather to the top and bottom of the spins and along the edges. Scuffing to the boards and corners bumped. . Pages are clean and unmarked, except for a checkmark and five-digit numbers written on the front covers of all three volumes. Gutter crack to volume one at cover page and free endpaper. All hinges and joint are strong. The text block papers are slightly stiff and a bit wavy. Likely the effect of humidity in the past, not affecting the readability of the texts.
