Buch. Zustand: Neu.

Hardcover.Text in Spanish & English. *Since the 1980s, Juan Travnik has wandered at dawn through a ghostly Buenos Aires, devoid of all human presence, recording the blackness of the austere urban and peripheral landscapes. Over the years, color has taken on increasing importance. The deathly hues of his chromatic repertoire reflect his dejection in the face of the crisis currently gripping Argentina. Everywhere, the deterioration of walls and sidewalks, the splashes and stains here and there, the oxidation, the cracks and holes, the rust, the accumulation of plaster exude a somber anguish and bathe the city in a mournful light.
