The work contains a preface in which Fawkes thanks the help he has received from his peers including Zachary Pearce, John Jortin, and Samuel Johnson. Burnaby furnished the Essay. Francis Fawkes [ 1721 - 1777 ] English poet & translator, who was, in the latter role, considered by his contemporaries to be the best since Alexander Pope. His translations are still selected for modern anthologies to this day, such is their merit. 500 grams.
