Transcriptions of the memorials etc in the Parish Church of St Michael in St Albans, including those in the Churchyard and the Garden of Remembrance, aimed to assist those researching their genealogy or family history.

Hardback, handwritten titling to spine. 22.5 × 14.5cm, 136pp. A transcription of the parish registers of Lydlinch (a village in the Blackmore Vale in north Dorset), transcribed by the vicars of Long Burton and Lydlinch, and covering the births, marriages and deaths (or "Weddinges, Christinings and Buryinges") between 1559 and 1812. The book also has a list of Rectors of Lydlinch from 1303 to 1898. Condition: Good condition for age. There is some marking to the cloth boards but the contents are in good readable condition. One gathering pp35-46 is working loose but the text is complete.

Hyde and J.E. Lousely. Out-of-print. Scarce. Eleanor Vachell was a highly regarded amateur botanist. This diary predominantly tells the story of her botanical adventures with her friends during their quest to paint every British plant in the wild. She nearly completed it too, missing only 13 of approx. 1,800 species.
