He has one plant named after him known as Tournonia, a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Basellaceae, containing one known species, Tournonia hookeriana. Bound in quarter brown calf with paper covered boards. Externally, worn with rubbing and wear resulting in light loss to the extremities. A crack to the front joint. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered spotting. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the front endpaper. Good. book.
