Recent 1/2 old style calf binding with gilt and blind stamped tooling to spine, marbled sides The rare 1st edition 1st issue which contains the suppressed pages 214-220, which contain an account of how the Master General of the Ordnance tried to obtain Joseph Manton's rifling invention. Neither Chute or Schwerdt had this, Schwerdt notes the pages are often missing due to this being sold as a set of prints, Chute notes the 1st edition 1st issue exceedingly rare.
