In den WarenkorbCloth. Zustand: Very Good. None (illustrator). A smart copy of this collection of poetry from English Romantic writer John Keats, being volume II only. Volume two of two only. The Muse's Library. A collection of the poetry of John Keats, an English poet of the second generation of Romantic poets, along with Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley. His works were indifferently received in his lifetime, but his fame grew rapidly after his death, and by the end of the century, he was placed in the canon of English literature, strongly influencing many writers of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. This volume contains titles such as: Lamia, Isabella, The Eve of St. Agnes, Ode to Apollo, and Sonnet to Byron, amongst others. Edited by George Thorn-Drury, an English barrister and literary scholar. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers. Very Good. book.
