Binding stiff, though gutters are beginning to crack. Fore edge of pages gilt, edges deckled. Pages toned but clean. A charming volume of poetry from a distinctly Virginian author. Consequently, Hunter was made Virginia's Poet Laureate for the year of 1948.This copy was sourced from the collection of Peter Dzwonkoski, director of Rare Books and Special Collections at the University of Rochester's Rush Rhees Library.
