Zustand: Good. 1955. No edition remarks. 46 pages. Dust jacket over blue paper covered boards. Book is in better condition than most examples of this age. Neat, clean, well bound pages with very minimal foxing, tanning and thumbing. Small inscriptions and neat labels may be present. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking.

Dated 1987 on the copyright page. No date on title page. 192 pages. Binding is strong and square. A faint touch of rubbing to the corners and spine. No major wear or rubbing. Pages very faintly toned, but free of other marks or writing. Dust jacket is clean and glossy. A small closed tear at the foot of the spine. Light wrinkling near the head of the covers, but no other tears. Spine lightly sunned. Overall good condition. SIGNED by one of the authors on the half-title page, where has written, "To Harold Hirrick From one hunter and decoy enthusiast to another. With best wishes- Henry C. Chitwood". Clearly the Bible on this subject, including examples of decoys from about 80 carvers throughout Connecticut and a history of duck and shore bird hunting in the state.
