Élie Decazes) mit einer Absage, da er, Bugeaud, nach Perigord fahre, wo sich seine kranke Frau befinde und mit dem Ausdruck seines Bedauerns, nicht an der Arbeit der Kommission teilnehmen zu können: "J'ai l'honneur d'informer Monsieur le Duc Decaze président de la commission du Code Naval qu'il m'est impossible de me trouver à la séance qu'il a indiquée pars ce matin pour le Périgord où ma femme est malade.
