The idea of issuing such a taken is indeed good; I feel sure it is attractive and a collector's item." Large, bold "Hambleton" in blue ballpoint. Tapp was a noted and prolific author and editor of Kentucky histories as well as chairman of the Kentucky Civil War Centennial Commission.

Something should have been sent sooner giving information about the Kentucky Civil War Centennial." Signed simply "Ham" in blue ballpoint.
