Copiously illustrated in colour and black and white throughout. Rapture is an emotion-drenched diary of memories which took place in Seattle, circa 1991-1995. Nearly every word is illustrated in Ashleigh Talbot's own dark noir pen-and-ink style. Limited edition of 500 copies, all made by hand. Colour image at the front with tissue guard. Slight creasing at edges of spine, otherwise about fine. Excellent condition.

First Edition. 31 x 24cm. Bound in a beautiful steel hinged binding with padlock and keys, unpaginated [136pp]. Fully illustrated. Of the 500 limited edition copies, numbers 310 to 500 are housed in this metal binding, of which this is number 333, signed and finger-printed in gold and dated 26/8/90. A rare and lavish comic book production associated with Seattle's grunge music scene (Steven Bernstein was noted as an influence on Nirvana's Kurt Cobain). Features a pasted-in photo of weird fiction / horror writer Wilum Pugmire.(ref: 177).
