Has a short text in French by Marcel Duchamp and a lengthier one by William Burroughs which begins: 'Takis is working with and expressing in this sculpture thought forms of metal - Silent flowers twist in mineral pollenization - And you hear metal think as you watch disquieting free floating forms move and click through invisible turnstiles - Cold blue mineral music of thinking metal - You can hear metal think in the electromagnetic fields of Takis sculpture.'.

This issue is presently (July 2019) shown as part of the Takis exhibition at Tate Modern. Signals London was a short-lived yet highly influential British venue dedicated to 1960s avant-garde artists from Europe and Latin America. Through their exhibitions, events and publications, they established fruitful cross-border networks between these regions and introduced early manifestations of Fluxus, Kinetic and Op art to Britain. Having evolved from the Centre for Advanced Creative Study, Signals London was situated in London's West End between 19641966. Condition: Folded as issued and folded on centre, some wear to the centre of spine on outside page, some wear to folds on outer page and edges of pages, light toning. Some evidence of 2 vertical creases/fold, with light surface wear to the folded edge. Overall VG. Large format item, requires extra postage.
