Pictorial elements to cover lightly surface rubbed with some loss of crispness t…o the images; title lettering at spine a little dulled. Text block soundly bound but endpages split in the inner hinges. Cloth crimped at spine ends and lightly rubbed at corner tips; a few mild bumps to board edges. Prior owner name penned to front endpage; mild foxing confined to lining sheets. Dim catalog numeral at spine, presumably the remanant of the owner's personal library numbering system along with a faint tape shadow across the spine near tail. Contents clean and unmarked; a decent copy of this uncommon "Scout" era camping and outdoors guide by noted naturalist and explorer, Grinnell. G to G+.
