He became a Swedish citizen 1912. In 1945 he married the artist and writer Agda Göthlin. He was previously married to Margit Holm in 1928." This copy in softcover format was edited by Agda Gothlin, and is SIGNED by him, quite warmly inscribed to the important painter I. Rice Pereira opposite title page, "I. Rice Pereira [underscored], with Salam Aleikum from [unintelligible Persian script] Sverre Holmsen, Tenerife, Isle Canarias, March 1958." Swedish language text, and with lovely illustrations as chapter heads and at title page. Printed, illustrated brown wraps are worn along tips, edges, joints, but the interior is clean and unmarked. Many unopened top edges, some unopened fore-edges. Uber-scarce in the trade.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
