Several newspaper cuttings about Yorkshire cricketers pasted in. Three dedications on title page associating the book with cricket and giving the date of the signature of the author on the title page as Feb. 15th 1938 the day on which Herbert Sutcliffe visited Pudsey Municipal College to give a talk on cricket and demonstrate its "leading strokes". Sutcliffe was later to enjoy a tea at the Town Hall, followed by another lecture. This information is contained in Sutcliffe's autograph letter to the school principal confirming these arrangements, which is tipped in at the end of the book. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
