Aus Millionen von Datenbankeinträgen von FracFocus, einer US-amerikanischen Plattform für Fracking-Operationen, analysiert Tieu zusammen mit dem Datenanalysten Gary Allison die chemischen Komponenten auf ihr Gefährdungspotenzial hin. Ihre Auseinandersetzung mit den fragwürdigen Methoden und Standorten sowie der undurchsichtigen öffentlichen Kommunikation in den USA hat sie um aktuelle Recherchen zu potenziellen Fracking-Standorten in Deutschland erweitert.
