Inscribed and dated 21/11/41 in Arabic to the front wrap, possibly by the author, who was Editor-in-Chief of the Literary Supplement of Egyptian youth newspaper Al Fatat. Jacket and wraps good only, with a little loss and archival tape reinforcements to the spine and hinges. Interiors tanned, generally very good apart from translucent archival tape repairs to the final leaf partially impacting text. This appears to be rare with Worldcat locating 4 copies (OCLC 784938657: NYU Abu Dhabi, Hartford International University, National Library of Israel, University of Haifa). This is the 5th in a 20 volume series of biographies entitled "Leaders of the East".
