A very good original Victorian cloth binding. 12mo. pp. 102. 6.25" x 4.0" x 0.25". Blue cloth boards with bright gilt decoration of bows and a central gilt urn. Spine with similar gilt decoration and gilt title. Boards lightly rubbed and edges bumped. Original yellow endpapers. Small binder's label to recto of the rear board: "Bound by Westleys & Co., Friar Street, London." ** Frederick John von Sturmer, 1829-1897. Born 8 Apr 1829 in Oxford, England.
