Ex-libris UFO enthusiast George W. Earley, with his bookplate on the front pastedown. Earley was a U.S. engineer and editor. He was involved in science fiction fandom during the 1940s. He is the author of "Encounters with Aliens: UFOs and Alien Beings in Science Fiction." With a foreword by Major Donald E. Keyhoe. Dustjacket. 224pp. Some light edgewear and bumping, slight discoloration of the blue paper boards, in a strong and solid example of the dustjacket with some discoloration of the laminate (it has yellowed slightly), and a couple of closed tears. A very good copy. Internally clean with a bookseller's "Employee Book Sale" stamp to the front flyleaf. Fore edge untrimmed. A book falling firmly into the category of "Fear the spacemen, they probably hate our way of life" rather than "Welcome the spacemen, they can speak to squirrels and will cure our diseases with Venusian love" which, as we all know, are the two categories of books about UFO phenomena.…
