Signed "Walter King Stone 1905" in bottom right corner. Original art for a magazine cover. The top of the painting reads: "February 1906 Recreation Ten Cents." Matted in a brown wooden raised frame. Some of the paint is a little rubbed, one corner cracked, very good. Stone was a pupil of Arthur Wesley Dow and later taught painting at Cornell.
