Directed by Mario Alejandro Stilman, whose truncated purpose was to create a magazine that "once and for all, would allow publication without strange requirements" and that would be a means of communication at the service of all concerns literary . From it many took not only the post of the objective of disseminating the unpublished but also the "cold composition" services with which many magazines would be made, the three-column layout and the idea of consigning in a box the Works Received from narrative and poetry. Published during the darkest months of the 'Proceso', the magazine's circulation was necessarily restricted to a semi-clandestine circuit of resistant bookstores and hand-to-hand distribution to evade the strict censorship and military raids targeting independent publishers. The choice of 'cold composition' and low-cost printing was not merely aesthetic but a survival strategy, allowing for production in smaller, less scrutinized print shops.
