The corners of the pages are bumped. Good. The cover art by Dalton Stevens illustratres Joseph McNeel's story "Crimson Night". The artist and illustrator Dalton Stevens illustrated covers for several magazines produced by Bernarr Macfadden during the 1920's. His vision started to deteriorate in the 1930's eventually resulting in total blindness, a condition which was tragic for an artist. Despondent, at the age of 61, Stevens shot and killed himself, leaving suicide notes for his brother to find.
