All signed by the author and each volume?s illustrators, respectively: Michael Whelan, Phil Hale, Ned Dameron, Bernie Wright…son, Darrel Anderson, and Jae Lee. The Gunslinger is additionally signed by its publisher, Donald Grant. Two copies of The Little Sisters of Eluria are included; one from the limited edition signed by both King and Whelan, and the second from the Artist's Edition signed by Whelan only. All Fine in Fine dust jackets. Slipcases with light wear, traycases close very slightly misaligned. Brooks A18.1b, A34.1b, A43.2b, A61.2, A88.3, A89.2, A90.2. An extreme rarity, as the maximum of only 12 possible sets of matching publisher?s copies could ever exist. The Dark Tower series is not tethered to any specific genre, instead fusing together a complex meta-textual universe of dark fantasy, western, sci-fi, and horror. Equally inspired by Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Westerns, King modeled his anti-hero, Roland Deschain, on Clint Eastwood's character in Man with No Name, and incorporated slow-burn, sparse dialogue from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Signed Limited Edition; Publisher's Copies.
